50 years of turkish guestworkers in Germany. The train station from Istanbul Sirkeci. Istanbul Gateway to the West. Sevim Can Eyüboglu and his granddaughter are standing on the platform waiting for the train to Germany. The little man with the gray-white hair has traveled from Trabzon to follow his own tracks on the trip of his life – this time together with his 16 years old granddaughter Zeynep Eyüboglu. He is on his way in his past, to a country that has changed his life that he has entered 41 years ago for the first time.
